my heart radio ♥

Controlled chaos. I like random things and usual things. Penguins, squirrels, baby animals, love notes and random acts of kindness make me happy. Abrupt changes, uncontrollable events, and the dark make me anxious. Some days I like people, some days I don't. I bounce around like that, and it's led to some interesting results ♥

I'm also working on improving myself to become more fit and a happier, healthier person. I'm tracking all that here

    This. Is. Adorable.

It also reminds me of my students’ most recent obsession: How I spent my New Years Eve.

“Ms. B, what did you do for new years? You go out? You have fun? You get crunk?”

The way I see it, there are three ways to handle this situation, which has come up about 500 times since I tarted back at work on Tuesday.

Answer Possibility#1: The Vague-itude. “Um, I celebrated the new year. It’s none of your business what I did.”

Answer Possibility #2: The White Lie. “I hung out with my friends and got pizza. It was awesome!”

Answer Possibility #3: The Momma-style Chastisement. “I’m entirely sick of all these inappropriate personal questions, young man! They need to stop, or I’ll start taking points off of your conduct grade!”

I’m partial to #2, but I’ve used all three so far.

Everything about this makes me happy. The video, and the classroom. All of it. They just add to my hopes for the upcoming year!
